ISLAND WEST REFUSE TRANSFER STATION

The Island West Transfer Station involved the construction of a waste transfer facility in a rock cavern in the Central and Western District of Hong Kong Island. The rock cavern is 60 m long, 27 m wide and 12 m high. This is the largest span rock cavern constructed in Hong Kong to date.
